I went to visit my old preschool/kindergarten a week or so ago. My memories of it consisted of:
1. A play structure in the middle of the first floor.
2. a kid throwing a fake, plastic microwave at my head
3. having really long hair
4. a door smacking into my face
5. overall, a HUGE place.
6. having my friend cut off my bangs
I walked in, and I was like, "Okay a few things have changed. It has been around ten years." But the we got to the part where I remembered a huge play area, and I thought, "This is a lot tinier than I remember! What happened?!"
We walked into the office to say hi (I don't think the people there recognized me), and my preschool teacher came in and started talking about all sorts of things I didn't remember.
She said I was the little girl with long, blond hair and big feet and how I always tried to bring bugs inside so they had to pat me down and how much I swelled up when I got hives from eating strawberries.
It was weird because I couldn't remember any of this and I felt a bit left out. We left and now I have more stuff to say when I talk about my kindergarten (which is never).
you didn't swell, you got all hivey. and itchy.
